Jokes aside, this is a really good idea of by the Police Department. Change the narrative, get viewed positively, and just being good neighbors. Great job!

1SG Healy I agree! It's always a breath of fresh air seeing positive stories! I always said I wished they had a news channel that ONLY broadcasted the good, the hardworking, the determined, the motivated, the successful, the honorable, the strong people in the world. Unfortunately that's not "news."

They are looking for good PR or some recognition.. Sorry but when I'm at work as a cop I don't let a complete stranger just approach me and put their arms around me... These guys haven't been watching what's happened in NYC.. I am always friendly and wave. I try to make people understand cops are human too. 99.9% are just trying to do the right thing...
