My son is in the national guard and we serve in the same unit. It's cool and a bit weird at times serving with your kid. He supposedly wants to be a medic but we'll see.<br /><br />I served 23 years in the Army and my father served for two in the Army with one year in Vietnam. He plans to apply to the Naval Academy as well as ROTC and any other Officer program he can to achieve his goal. This one is a little early because clearly he's not serving, but he's on his way USMC! She's in JROTC now (Freshman year) and she is serious about enlisting (or possibly trying to go the officer route).
