I finally started to pick up cooking my own meals after going to a Korean place with ridiculous prices. I threw this together the other night, and it got me wondering about how many other service members pick up cooking dishes from various duty stations around CONUS and overseas.

(Really, this is just in preparation for Fat Boy Friday. Brace yourselves: the tape is coming)

I have not yet been stationed OCONUS, but I have picked up interest in various dishes from my past duty stations. While at Pope AFB, I learned and loved the art of true soul food, yummy! And when stationed in Texas picked up the love for hot and spicy with great taste. I love learning about the different cultures and what they eat.

I became a chef after I got hurt and couldn't reenlist. I was in Italy and my xo took me around town showing me all the awesome food they hsve
