Or will we get BAH base on the base I left to go to Korea. How much is the extra money? Do they take all the BAS? Just make sure you research about the family going back. They should be fine, but you never know. This is a sensitive subject as the army has cracked down on BAH fraud on unaccompanied tours. When you arrive here we will give you meal deductions that can be stopped if your battalion Conan net approves it. If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Theres hardly any extra money is you're single and a SSG. Being that you're married you should be fine with BAH and BAS. you also get family Separation pay, COLA, and depending on what area you are in you will get hazardous duty pay. I am a SSG℗ that just left Sill divorced and I can tell you this it absolutely sucks. You lose all your BAH and BAS and if you pay child support they give you BAH differential which I find that can hardly make up for the difference of what you'll be paying for in child support if you have more than one child. Also I have a mortgage and losing BAH, BAS and only getting differential isn't going to cut it. It only beneficial to be here if you're married or a senior leader. Other than that if you have prior financial obligations it will definitely put a strain on them if you're single.
