There may be a one time incentive bonus and they enjoy not having to carry medical malpractice liability insurance Response by LTC Jason Mackay made Oct 22 at 2020 10:12 PM 2020-10-22T22:12:01-04:00 2020-10-22T22:12:01-04:00 SFC Private RallyPoint Member 6429396 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The military pay chart is available publicly online. You would start out as an O1 and progress through the ranks over time. I am a Major and 23 years of service so I am paid roughly one-third of what I am worth. Happily, there are bonuses...which doubles my pay. So, by the time you pay taxes...most PAs essentially work for free. Direct commission as a 1LT or higher depending on years of experience. Student loan repayments and bonuses available. Pro pay and board certification adds about $1k/mo on Active Duty. Prorated in AR and NG. Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 22 at 2020 10:58 PM 2020-10-22T22:58:47-04:00 2020-10-22T22:58:47-04:00 2020-10-22T19:09:54-04:00
