How much does the government pay to PCS a family from CONUS to Hawaii?

Trying to figure out a memorandum of justification and wondering if anyone knows how much the Army pays to PCS a family from California to Hawaii. I believe I am allowed 17,000 we combined weight. I can figure out the TLA expenses among others but this one is a bit different. Usually it’s around $1 a pound but since it’s on ships I’m figuring at least $2-3 a pound. Thanks in advance.

The JTR states “per diem is up to 25% of the service members authorized allowance”

There are some variables outside of weight, for example if you have a lot of breakables the cost of packing materials which are reimbursed on a cost plus percentage will be higher. I think the closest you will get before the actual move is transportation should be able to give you an estimate of your cost if you are 1000 lbs overweight. Multiply that number by 17 and you should be close to the Government’s maximum cost.

Not enough so spend less wherever you can, meals enroute is one of the most costly.
Hawaii has too economies, one for tourists and one for locals. The buffets are usually good and some hotels have Continental Breakfasts as late as 1000 or 1100. Don't use room service. Rental cars are really cheaper by the week - 3 or 4 days price equals 1 week with military ID. If you have insurance on you own car just have your own agent check to see if it covers a rental - even if you have to pay an extra $100 that month for your own insurance it will likely be less expensive than a week with a Hawaii RentaWreck coverage cost.
