How's Army basic training for a former E-3?

Hi everyone,
I was honorable discharge with a reenlistment code of RE-3 and separation code KHF. I’m already working with my recruiter to get the waiver done and he's pretty confident they will accept me. I failed to pass the DLPT as a linguist in the Air Force, so I couldn’t finish the rest of my training and I was separated but they recognized that I used all the resources available to me, hence the honorable discharge.
I’m going for OCS, but currently I’m curious about basic training. I wasn’t an NCO, so will I be treated like everyone else? I don’t mind that at all, but like I said, I’m curious.

I was an E3 when I went. You will be treated just as everyone else is.

You're certainly gonna have a harder time in Army Basic than you did in Air Force Basic

Yes, you'll be treated like everyone else. In fact, I wouldn't offer up my prior service to cadre, or peers during basic.
Be mature, be professional, help your peers, read the training schedule and ensure you and your peers are ready for the next day, before the end of the day prior.
Bad = I'm prior service Air Force, and I know this DS can't do or say that. (Barring it being unlawful, or putting someone's life at risk. LET it go.)
Good = DS on graduation day: Who are you, private?

No one gonna know unless you tell them. Chances are they will pick out that you know some semblance of drill and other tell tell and they want you as a squad leader or something. Then you have to tell em then.

Yea, USMC doesnt have rank 1st. Nobody is allowed to dawn rank until 13wks later.

BLUF,
Former AF E-3 is as good as E1. Nothing to expect as privilege just because you were an E3. You are still an untamed PVT.

You were an non-rated airmen so it’s basically as if you weren’t in the air force at all

You'll be treated like everyone else. Just keep moving forward and dont go into it expecting to be treated differently or with an attitude that you're superior due to your prior service time.

Dont say jack squat about trying to go air force before army. BCT is going to be a swift kick in the ass compared to BMT. Also, dont mention anything about OCS. Stay in your land and keep your mouth shut

I went to basic as 17yo E2 and ran my mouth. It did not work out so well for me.
