Maybe not so simple an answer. How secure is our nation's relationship with Guam? Will it ever become a state? Will it ever want out of the U.S. relationship? Will we willingly let it go? It seems to be increasing in strategic importance. It is definitely somewhere we should stay and keep close to us but it is a rather small island. And I wouldn't blame them if they didn't want to be a part of the states. The Enterprise was more exciting but dang I would have loved the Scuba Diving in Guam. It will stay US. They dont want out and we need it. Their economy and employment relies very heavily on US defense and other department presence. It is a strategic asset for the US for many reasons.
