You were read the Article 15 and now you are being informed that the supporting paperwork was lost. The counselings are not a requirement for an Article 15. Everyone is acknowledging what happened and prepared to proceed with punishment. The flag will be lifted once the Article 15 is imposed. DO NOT make up paperwork. That&#39;s a whole separate issue for anyone suggesting it. If you were read the Article 15 and agreed to accept the Commanders findings, that should be all that is required. The flagged should be for pending UCMJ action and should be removed once the punishment is completed. Be aware that at your rank, this will go on your record. Whether it is on the restricted is up to the CO.
