As a former WTB soldier. I know that I am guilty of similar action as this. I also confronted a driver that almost hit the vehicle that my wife and my mother was in. Its true that there is a brief moment that you have no recollection, because of your abnormal reactions to a situation; it lasted just for a brief moment and then I've notice two frighten passengers and thats when I realize what I was doing. Just went back got back in my vehicle and left it as is. I said what I had to say to the driver, gave him a piece of my mind and thats it. Its my personal experience and I wont make any judgement to anyone but for those who understands the circumstances of being a wounded warrior with baggages that we all don't want. It is an example of what we all should not do or try not to do. It happens to the best of us. He looks to be in his late 20s, early 30s. Now, we don't know his side of the story, but, PTSD should be no reason to lose your cool like that, especially being a Sgt in the Marine Corps. Again-we don't know all the facts though.

That being said, I would not be surprised if, after many years of flipping out like this on subordinates under him, he's just been psychologically warped into thinking he's plain entitled to act like this towards anyone he deems fit. This is probably not the first time with this guy. Years of getting away with it probably bred in him this mentality. The other issue that I have are Army and Air Force personnel that are allowed to wear their utility uniforms out in town, swearing and being obnoxious in public. I see comments being made of his reference to PTSD, and I am not one to say yay or nay to that claim, however, his behavior was absolutely unacceptable. His words and actions, especially having been put on the internet for the world to see, certainly reflect poorly on all of us in the public eye. If he needs help with emotional trauma or problems of any nature, he should definitely recieve such, but no one should even be attempting to find an excuse or justification as though what he did could ever be considered "right".
