CAMP PENDLETON - A violent outburst by a Camp Pendleton Marine during an apparent road rage incident was caught on camera by the passenger of a truck on base...
I found this video on Youtube (see above). WARNING: NOT WORK OR CHILDREN FRIENDLY - CONTAINS PROFANE LANGUAGE. It depicts an alleged service member acting out of line at a traffic accident. I actually received second-hand embarrassment for my brother in arms because people will see this and judge the entire military for one guy. It takes one individual to ruin everything. Whether I am in uniform or civilian attire, I conduct myself with the utmost pride and professionalism. 1) He is not an alleged service mementos, he is/was a Marine Sergeant to be exact.
2) The male driver being screamed at was transporting a disabled female Marine that had to use a wheel chair. So the screaming Marine is calling a fellow and disabled Marine a whore among many other vulgarities that he screamed at her.
3) The screaming Sgt. claimed PTSD made him act that way. I'm calling BS on that one.
4) The belligerent Marine was cited and investigated, however at this time I can find no results on what decision was made about how to discipline this Marine. This happened in April of 2013.
5) This behavior is absolutely unacceptable, regardless if PTSD had anything to do with it or not. Everyone must be held accountable for their actions.

Everyone state of Health cannot be judge in the manner some of us are doing it. I will never go after someone based on my own feelings. I can see where he got more confident when his buddies arrived on scene so obviously he felt he was right. I don't condone any of his actions, and I also will not condemn him for any at all,, I will simple give him what he needs to become better, at being himself, all the needed tools is deserving of the sacrifice to serve ! Lets take care of each other and respect each other with the intention of seeing each other shine. Lets admit it, we do not like to see our people mistreated correct ? Let us at least start applying that to everyone that made a sacrifice of service honorable! Trust me it will heal all wounds!

So the biggest question I have is, as Soldiers, is there ANY acceptable excuse for his actions? Because it sounds to me like a lot of responses on here are looking for something that excuses this. If the Marine was that jacked by his PTSD, does that excuse his behavior? If the kid had been dumb enough to leave his door unlocked and had gotten his ass whipped five ways from Sunday, is PTSD the excuse we use as Soldiers to say it was acceptable?

Wow.... i applaud that guy for staying calm and collected... PTSD has nothing to do we this behavior...it looks more to me like roiderage... that's a shame all this time i thought he was just an a** whipe having temper tantrum...He is a marine?

I'm at a loss for words. I'm a Marine Vet. Who has been a police officer for the last 15 years. If I would have rolled up on this and seen this. He would of had one chance to slow his roll. He would have been hooked up for disorderly conduct at the least. Had I been showen the video. I'm still still a Marine first (have the same hair cut since boot) but I wouldn't stand for this not from anyone.

COL Charles Williams Agree 100%. Now if I can just remember that... lol but seriously that guy has some problems and I did notice that the driver was military too.

Sorry but this guy need serious help. He became more macho after his buddies come. He needs help pregnant or not, he should be concerned about his wife and not act like an animal. Kudos to the guy in the car!
