How soon will I start to get off post pass at ait at fort jackson so my wife can come visit me?

It depends on what phase you are in, but it will be a couple of weeks before you’re eligible for an offpost Pass.

There are so many variables to the possible answer it would be an injustice to give you a timeline.

Policy, opinions, personal bias, from
TRADOC
Post commander
Brigade Commander
Battalion commander
Company Commander
DOD or post threat assessment
And more...all come into it.

Bottom line the only accurate answer will come from your Drill sergeant

Unlikely anytime soon. What is likely to happen first is visitors being allowed during certain hours on a Sunday.
It is entirely possible that no passes are ever allowed. Only long AITs typically offer them until graduation.

Usually every weekend your wife should be able to sign you out for the day on the weekends when you first get there. The ones that can really answer that will be the DS at your company. I’m sure each training base is a little different for AIT Soldiers. When we get new ones in they usually come right before the weekend and gets a weekend pass with family that takes them from basic

That cannot be answered here on RP. You need to seek out your CoC and ask that. I am guessing you just arrived there so not likely in the phase you are in now.

You will get a pass when you and your unit damn well EARNS it- Probably a Novel concept for you folks.. And it might not be an off-post pass either, maybe just a couple of hours on post. Your wife can wait and you can wait till graduation.

There's too many variables to answer that question, continue focusing on your school, your cadre will announce when you phase up and if you get lucky they may give you a guideline of when you could phase up.

You will most likely not get your first off post pass until your 5th week there. You will have to phase over granted before that even happens. A lot of things play into your class/platoon even phases over to Gold phase. There is really no point in asking cadre because they will tell the standard answer which is “when you earn it”. You have entered a society totally different from that to which you are accustomed.
First Lesson: Your platoon sergeant PSG owns you right now. (you should have learned this in BCT)
You should NOT be here at RP, rather you should be hitting the books and paying attention to your training.
In my day, FTJSC was AIT for personnel courses among a few others. If 41 is your career field, you are learning to take care of troops. A HUGE responsibility as your actions on the job can have an adverse impact on the soldiers in any command to which you are assigned. PAY ATTENTION.

Get used to the idea that the Chain of Command now owns you. Family will, unfortunately, have to take a back seat during your military career. You will have to accept family separations and your spouse will have to learn to pick up the slack. There will be lots of separations and possible long days for which both will have to prepare mentally.
For the moment, stop worrying about 'when can I get a pass?' and concentrate on adjusting to life in the military.
