How soon after graduating Basic Leaders Course (BLC) are the promotion orders issued?

Was BLC the one item holding up promotion?

If I remember correctly, I only waited 5 days after BLC (PLDC in my day..lol). But promotion points in my MOS were bottomed out at 450.

Under the new system I had to wait for points to post for the next month(graduated 17 Mar) so the April list and pinned May 1. Your graduation certificate has to post before the point cutoff day and you have to make points for that month.

You will get your 1059 the following month and it will reflect on your erb.

Depends if you're in the Guard or Active duty.
If you are Guard you have to wait until the EPS list is posted for the year in your state. You need an E4 eval done to be on the promotion list. Unless you are in the step program and in the E5 slot, I do not think it's immediate.

As of 2021 promotion point cutoff scores will be recorded while IA at BLC. If a soldier who is at BLC currently has passing promotion points for their MOS they will be promoted the next month after having a Promotable status and successfully completing BLC.
