How soon am I able to submit a Green to Gold application as a Drill Sergeant? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-soon-am-i-able-to-submit-a-green-to-gold-application-as-a-drill-sergeant

Hello,
Green to Gold ADO is my next goal, however I am having trouble understanding how soon I am eligible to apply for the program due to serving as a Drill Sergeant. According to TRADOC Regulation 350-16, Ch. 3-5, c (11) “NCOs in a DSC status or serving as a DS, may submit applications for attendance to service schools, such as Warrant Officer Candidate School, Special Forces Assessment and Selection, and Battle Staff upon completion of 18 months of their stabilization period (see
AR 614-200).” Which doesn’t mention G2G. Also, when referencing to AR 614-200. Ch. 8-25, b (11) it again mentions only those specific programs along with the approval authority [HRC]. Could someone point me in the right direction? But the regulation states “such as” which indicates it is not an all-inclusive list.

Best of luck!
Submit your packet. The worst you’ll be told is “no” and then you can submit with an exception to policy.
