You'll retain most of your gear.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2016 12:08 AM2016-04-21T00:08:33-04:002016-04-21T00:08:33-04:00CW4 Private RallyPoint Member1467724<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It's based off when you receive your installation clearing papers. Most installations allow you 7-10 business days to clear the installation and unit. During that time you will clear CIF. That 7-10 days lines up with your final out date which is determine by when your PCS, ETS or terminal leave starts.Response by CW4 Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2016 12:08 AM2016-04-21T00:08:34-04:002016-04-21T00:08:34-04:00SSG Private RallyPoint Member1467734<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>you can transfer all of your gear to your new duty station and keep all of itResponse by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Apr 21 at 2016 12:15 AM2016-04-21T00:15:00-04:002016-04-21T00:15:00-04:00TSgt Private RallyPoint Member1467840<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>In general, as soon as you receive your orders, you can clear CIF.
