How would I go about amending my unaccompanied orders to accompanied orders to get my husband to Germany as soon as possible, when I land. I was told the efmp process would take extremely long, so I would have to go unaccompanied. Germany is automatically an accompanies tour unless you choose to leave your family behind. Your S1 you talked to was probably a SPC who has no idea what they’re talking about. <br />If you’ve already selected the unaccompanied tour then you have to talk to reassignment and make the change. EFMP will take a while, it just means your family may have to fly out some time after you leave. If this was an assignment that you requested through reenlistment you can go to your career counselor and get the deferment to give you enough time to process your EFMP. It’s usually between 30-90 days at most posts to get the command sponsorship completed. It’s a lot easier to do prior to leaving than once you’re over there Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 13 at 2020 4:32 PM 2020-07-13T16:32:39-04:00 2020-07-13T16:32:39-04:00 2020-07-13T16:21:47-04:00
