How to be declared unfit for duty?

My NCOIC said that I will not be doing a MEB or anything and he said that he was gonna talk to the Army doctor who isn't my PCM about declaring I'm unfit for duty. He said exactly this " I am gonna force him to do his job and get you out faster". Isn't that what a MEB is for? Lots of f***ery suspected here. I just want to make sure I get evaluated for the Chronic Migraines I have since my TBI.

Request to speak to your 1SG or commander. If what you are saying is true your NCO is terribly misinformed regarding medical fitness standards and the medical separations process.
The army affords everyone a lot of due process and you don't need to worry about an NCO suddenly clicking his heels and you being gone. It doesn't work that way at all. Control what you can control and start reading up to try to educate yourself on these issues.

Your NCOIC has no say or control over the MEB process. He's in for a big surprise.

MSgt Michael Smith - Well stated. Much more diplomatic that my response would have been.
Your command, especially first line NCO, has no say over the MEB/PEB process or what the final determination is. Additionally, the IDES process is already laid out, so a non-PMC provider isn't going to really be able to do anything. The only impact your command really has is the commander's statement, which can carry a lot of weight.
