How to deal with an unresponsive Reporting Senior in the Marine Corps Reserve?

What is the best way to deal with an unresponsive Reporting Senior (RS) when it comes to getting your annual Fitness Report completed in the Marine Corps Reserve?

If your Annual Fitrep hasn't been done idk how someone higher hasn't noticed in the Battalion. I would go up the COC ASAP. It is your career. If it was me I would request Mast if I didn't have a response on a fitrep if it is pass due.

Everything you need is in the link to MCO. Late fitreps can trigger adverse fitreps on all Reporting Officials because of the importance to the MRO and promotion. HQMC keeps a profile on all Reporting Officials. Index A at the end lists MCO for all situations. Appendix L is a sample letter for your CO requesting your RS's action. If it is your current CO, your Senior Enlisted Advisor will get involved at your request. He should already be involved if he's doing his job. If they are unresponsive, go to the next higher SEA. Anyone involved is just hurting their own record by not acting decisively. It's their job.
