The rated period should only include the timeframe that you were assigned to the supervision of the unit (February 2022).

I'm a bit fuzzy on this one ... does AIT give you a 1059 like other schools do? If so, that's your coverage.

No coverage for your time in the IRR, that is what HRC considers an "acceptable gap" and won't be covered.

(3) Gaps in a Soldier’s evaluation history may occur for various reasons. A majority of these gaps are acceptable, while others are unacceptable.
(a) Acceptable gaps between OERs or NCOERs include periods when a Soldier was in a nonratable status when no OER or NCOER was warranted, such as a break in service. For USAR and ARNG Soldiers, periods in the IRR or inactive national guard (ING) are nonratable periods; therefore, these periods will appear as gaps in the evaluation report history.COL Randall C.Mon, 26 Sep 2022 15:25:35 -04002022-09-26T15:25:35-04:00Response by SGM Jeff Mccloud made Sep 26 at 2022 3:35 PM

You accepted a promotion and went IRR the same month? And retained your promotion?
When you say "got back in", which component? Active Army, Army Guard?
This makes a difference.
Active Army, you were TDY enroute to a unit of assignment. NCOER starts date of arrival.
Army Guard, you were assigned to that unit, and TDY and return to the unit, NCOER starts date of assignment (contract), and includes the time at school as non-rated time code S.SGM Jeff MccloudMon, 26 Sep 2022 15:35:55 -04002022-09-26T15:35:55-04:00Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Sep 26 at 2022 10:41 PM

I've been out of the loop for a good Oklahoma minute. I can understand why you are asking this question. Now my question to you SGT; why are you writing your own NCOER?SFC Miguel CastillejaWed, 06 Sep 2023 06:55:06 -04002023-09-06T06:55:06-04:002022-09-26T13:32:09-04:00
