Active Army, Army Guard?<br />This makes a difference.<br />Active Army, you were TDY enroute to a unit of assignment. NCOER starts date of arrival.<br />Army Guard, you were assigned to that unit, and TDY and return to the unit, NCOER starts date of assignment (contract), and includes the time at school as non-rated time code S.
