You might try to approach the Army equivalent for aviation to reconnoiter who to be interfacing with to answer your questions. Is there a flight line there? Aviation unit? If there is, ask your NCO(s) for a break so you can go down there and seek a pilot to speak with. Introduce yourself. Establish rapport. Earn that LOR, don&#39;t just go down there and cold call asking for an LOR when they don&#39;t really know you.
