My ERB has not been updated at all. Still has me at Ft. Jackson as my assignment, still has me as a 09B as my PMOS. Wondering how I could get this updated?? I had a SSG tell me it is up to my unit back home since I am National Guard. Is that true? Or can I contact S1 here to see what is going on?

Why does your SRB matter if you are currently in AIT? You home station S1 will update it when you get done. What your assignment says now means jack shit

Thank you Sergeant. Was really just wondering if S1 would update it here or back home. Was worried cause I have to have a security clearance for my job and that section of my ERB is still not updated. Did not know if I needed that part updated before going back home. Thanks again Sergeant.

It’s normal if you clearance is not complete yet, S1 can’t touch that section. You can complete AIT while your investigation is ongoingSPC (Join to see)

There is no need at the moment for your SRB to be updated, and in reality nothing to update as of yet. In Section IX of the SRB, where duty assignments show up, the unit assignments for BCT, AIT or OSUT often drop off altogether, mine being an example. I've known many Soldiers on active duty that had it happen to them also. The other thing to note in regard to your question is that since you are still in AIT, your MOS code wouldn't change yet, because you technically don't have one until you graduate. I know you enlisted into a specific ARNG unit vacancy for one, but that doesn't translate to the SRB yet.
