SGT Private RallyPoint Member 3785844

I have a soldier who recently transitioned from National Guard to Active.
To simply put it, our S1 is as always understaffed and inexperienced.
1. The soldiers current SRB reads 0 months TIS, however after spending 3 years in the guard she has 6 months active (basic and ait), as well as some extra months in between when she was put on orders. How do we get S1 on the same page as us?
2. Her Leave days are also blank because she has 0 TIS. If we were to correct the TIS, would the leave days populate (as they should), and if not how do we get them to?
3. Her awards were also cleaned off from the guard, is that correct or yet another army mishap.

Couldn't really find anything on the internet to include RP. And the regs are pretty vague about the transition from NG to AR. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Kent. In the reserves it’s called DA 5016, I think it’s a NGB 23A for Nation Guard. She’ll only have a DD 214 after her Basic and AIT. She should have 3 years for pay but I'm not sure on TIS. For active service the 6 months of training should count.

2. She will not have leave from Basic and AIT as those were paid to her when she went back on drilling status.

3. Her awards need to be added back on.

The NG does a great job of keeping records so her state should be able to provide any documentation the unit needs to update her file. If she has all of her Orders, Certificates and documentation, then she needs to go to S1 and have a sit down with them. If S1 is no help, she should get ahold of HRC and they should be able to do something. That will have her date of enlistment and her Time In Service will start at that date. She also should have been sent a NGB23 Statement of Retirement Points, which she will need to get retirement credit for her National Guard time. If she doesn't have those documents, I don't know how she would have gone to Active Duty without a NGB22, she should contact the S1 section at the State Headquarters and they should be able to provide copies. The only thing that should have reset is her Date of Rank, which generally resets to the day of Active Enlistment. What she has to do is bring all of her supporting documents to the Career counselor(Retention) and have them do Computation of Service form. After that is finished take it to S-1 and have them send it to HRC and DFAS. Have the Soldier check their iPerms to see if all documents are present, if not bring them to the CReer Counselor as all supporting docs must be submitted with the 1506. Once the form is complete it will be submitted to DFAS via the Case management System (CMS).
