In my shop, you’d learn to know it well - it’s your bread and butter. Hopefully your supervisor feels the same way.

As a clerk you should be an expert at GCSS-Army.

I’m a civilian now and we sre just converting over to GCSS-A. I work at a test center and GCSS-A is not user friendly when it comes to test equipment simply because the equipment is not on the property. But we are definitely working to work for us. On a scale from 1-10 I give myself a 6 in how well I know the system.

The short time I spent learning that system, I walked away and said to myself, who are we kidding. Major Companies have issues with SAP, what the hell were we thinking going with this?

Well enough to tell you someone who doesn't have to use it thought they had a great idea..and rushed it out before it was ready for implementing.
