Jackson had to submit their application for BAH when they reported for in-processing.

You'll need your DD Form 1172 (Application for Uniformed Services Family Member ID Card from DEERS) showing your spouse is enrolled in your DEERS record.

You'll also need to complete a DA Form 5960 (Authorization to start/stop/change BAH).

Since BOLC is TDY, you should get BAH based on your HOR Zip. Once you PCS to Ft. Bliss, it will change to that zip, which is your duty location.

**EDIT** Appears as though AD Soldiers do not receive BAH unless you PCS to Ft. Lee.
