I have 6 days from phase 1 finish to my phase 2 report date.<br /><br />I’m trying to figure out if this will be TDY en-route or TDY and return to clear. Is there any way to request en-route if the prior? It would be far less stress if I’ll be able to clear and just go from there. Don&#39;t forget that you also need to attend IBAM prior to the start of your Phase 1 at Ft Sam.<br />If you have dependents, in your levy briefing you will be able to request to return to clear or move your dependents ahead of you. This is not TDY and Return. This is a VERY important point, because it determines how your travel is prepared and paid for. This will be TDY Enroute with return to home station authorized to clear. <br /><br />If you have no dependents, it is only TDY enroute and you must clear prior to leaving for school. <br />Don&#39;t forget about IBAM, check your Army email for the ATRRS reservation, and as soon as you get your orders, take them to your unit Travel/DTS section for a manual 1610.<br />You will need a manual 1610. You absolutely must not use DTS for this travel, because it is not TDY and return.
