What have you and your family done in the past on this day; do you have any special traditions? How do you celebrate, get-together, or show respect? What are your memories associated with Veterans Day and what does that mean to you?  How has this day impacted your career or your motivation to join or continue to serve?  To all that have served, from our family to yours, I would like to say thank you for your service!

Every year I go to my children's school and talk to different classes about Veterans Day and what it means. The children love it and the school really appreciates it as well. It is usually a pretty fun day.

Ideally recovering from celebrating the Marine Corps Birthday, realistically I'll be in quiet reflection thinking of all the people I had the good fortune to serve with, hoping they're all having a fun and safe time with their loved ones. I likely won't hit up any place that offers free meals to service members and veterans.<br>

For the first time in 4 years with the Family in the states. I will head over to a local cemetery to thank the falling Vets for their service.

I'm on the road TDY, so no real celebration, per se. That being said, I'm out supporting a great mission with some folks I haven't worked with before, so I'm having a good time doing my job!

For Lunch I'm going to Texas Road house for a free steak, I'll drink some beer with my wife and some of our friends. A Gun I just ordered might be coming in, if it is and I'm Sober I'll go pick it up and take it to the range. I'll end the day by playing with my Dog, and playing Xbox.

begin my day calling my friends and family Veterans. I believe I may get a call from my Marine Son. Then think I will step out for a coffee at Starbucks and an oil change.
Back home to prepare for a wedding reception at the auto museum.

Col Private RallyPoint Member I will attend a ceremony at Fort Vancouver in Vancouver, WA. Afterwards, I will watch the Veteran's Day Parade. Veteran's Day and Memorial Day mean a lot to me.

Watch tv and try to see as much of the parades on tv..mostly the 12 O'clock news
