Dazhane Merritt 6760922

Hello, I am curious to know if anyone has experience with a grade 3 stress fracture in the legs and how that impacted army basic training? My spouse has 4 weeks left until graduation.

Edited: He shared with me that his legs only hurt when he has to run for a while but he has been able to do everything else just fine. Recently MRI showed that they are grade 3 and was given crutches. How would a grade 3 stress fracture in the legs impact Army basic training? 2021-02-19T16:17:19-05:00 Dazhane Merritt 6760922

Hello, I am curious to know if anyone has experience with a grade 3 stress fracture in the legs and how that impacted army basic training? If that’s the case, the doctor would have reviewed the documents submitted and granted approval. I’d say if that did happen, a medical doctor blessed off on it and should be fine. Depending on his MOS, one has to ask themselves, if you have that level of fracture during basic training what will happen during service? If it is serious enough he may wish to rethink the military. It is tough on the body, daily runs, heavy lifting, 25K marches routinely in some organizations.

On the other hand, it may go away and never affect him again. A lot to process.
