How would RATE the job Secretary of Defense Ash Carter has done thus far? Has he been an Asset or Liability to the Obama Administration?

I believe he has been average. He has manage DOD through some serious paradigm shifts (DADT, Females in combat,etc). As with any politician, history will show how well he does.

SPC Andrew Griffin I dislike Obama policies, but history will judge him far better than I can. Just my opinion.

A chip of the old block, his boss that is. I was extremely pleased with his nomination and selection due to what I read about him. BOY! Was I wrong.

In a word - Average SPC Andrew Griffin. As expected he has not stood up to his boss or the military chiefs of staff.
