I think we would, because I refuse to think otherwise. SOME have even thrown in ISIS as a member of the hypothetical coalition. How would you compare our military capability (excluding allies) in comparison to a coalition of Russia, China, and North Korea? 2016-05-13T11:57:09-04:00 SSG(P) Private RallyPoint Member 1526153

I have had a few civilians at my job ask me if I think we would win a war like that. They would have far more soldiers, especially China and North Korea, but we have better technology and training. Assuming both sides resisted the temptation to use nuclear weapons, such a war would, eventually, become a war of attrition. As long as we could inflict heavier losses on them than they on us, we would win. We do have the technology to back us up, but not by that large of a scale. Production on their end may happen faster because of their population. This is of course if we do not involve nuclear weapons.

Not saying we would win or lose but it would indeed be a nightmare. This is all hypothetical of course. Any relationship they have at this Point is purely Business. Russia no long the Soviet Union, China is no longer MAO's Communist China and North Korea is the Hermit Kingdom and a Throwback on the Wayback machine to the worst times of the Cold War. I can't see any situation that they would work together in any Military Significant way other than being customers of Military Type Products. We have a bigger military budget than the Next 10 countries combined. Yes I think China has the best bet in any war of Attrition just a matter of numbers they can keep sending more and more warm bodies to die which would overwhelm any system. North Korea has the Highest Percentage of their People in the Military (It's the only way you get to eat) be active duty or reserves or starve. It just isn't a thing. ISIS, Just put that in Perspective it wasn't the US the Jihadis first attacked it was Russian in Afghanistan not until they were removed did the US replace Russia as #1 on the Hit List. We would be able to prevent any foreign fleet from bringing an army to attack us on our homeland, and by the time the enemy could build a fleet to fight ours we could in turn produce more ships and initiate a draft.

It would likely take at least a year to mobilize and increase the size of the military to the point where we would be capable of launching any sort of invasion overseas and several more after that before we could completely roll back the enemy. Russia and China at this point are very close if not equal to us technologically and their military sizes are far larger than ours. So force on force I doubt we would win a stand up fight. The coalition couldn't occupy America. In fact, it would have a hard time putting boots on American soil because they don't have the ability to project force as we do. They could stand off and annoy us with rockets and bombs, but not cause serious damage unless they resorted to nukes in which event we would respond in kind. Now, going the other way, we could put boots on their soil but not hold it without resorting to tactical nukes. But, that's just my opinion.
