How would you handle the new Senior Rater Profile 50% maximum top performer threshold if you have less than 3 NCOs? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-would-you-handle-the-new-senior-rater-profile-50-maximum-top-performer-threshold-if-you-have-less-than-3-ncos <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>The new NCOER to be implemented FY16 limits the Senior Rater Profile to only giving up to 50% of their rated NCOs a "top performer" rating. Therefore, if you have 3 NCOs, only 1 would qualify for this rating regardless of the other 2 NCOs overall performance/potential. This forces our hand to really know our Soldiers and what they are doing or not doing. While it may seem "unfair" I have seen many times where the situation was that three NCOs received the same 1,1 among the best, and one was clearly better at leading, working and training Soldiers. I think it will be a great tool to truly separate "the best" of the best. 1SG Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 08 Oct 2014 13:51:20 -0400 2014-10-08T13:51:20-04:00 Response by TSgt Joshua Copeland made Oct 9 at 2014 3:55 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-would-you-handle-the-new-senior-rater-profile-50-maximum-top-performer-threshold-if-you-have-less-than-3-ncos?n=271255&urlhash=271255 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>That is better then the Air Force, our new EPR is set for 10% (as of the last docs I seen on it). The problem being what if you have a stellar NCO in all areas you are moved to within a hospital setting? I believe there may be some in just done to those stellar NCOs.
