Here's the background. You're a senior E5. Your troops are in formation and you're handing out work for the day. You hand out an assignment to a fresh E2 with less than a year in and only a few months at your command. They blatantly complain and tell you to choose someone else. You calmly tell them they will do this task and they tell you to shove it and give it to someone else. How do you react?

I had a black Pvt in Korea that every time I told him to do something He would tell me "You just wait till the revolution, you'll get yours.
What really irritates me now is that he is eligible for Veterans benefits.

Pvt Shitbird, TL, SQ, stand fast. To SQ separately:
Please explain to the TL why this will not be tolerated and how to react next time they see it. Please make sure this fucktard spend a few minutes in the whiskey locker with his team and squad. When he's learned the level of his mistake, make sure he knows how to act. Also, get with your other SQ's and make sure duty SQ for the day is ready to take over at 12 so the rest of us can zonk for the day.

Simple,
1. I remove the Troop that can't control His Mouth from Formation, and put Him off to the side, possibly giving him something to do which keeps him occupied (push-ups, climbing a rope or a pole or something similar that will work toward getting Him winded and there fore occupy His mouth) while I complete giving assignments to the rest of the Crew.

2. Then I'd dismiss the remainder of the Formation to go about the Tasks they've been assigned, then turn My full attention to the "Loud Mouth". First I'd give him the most difficult and arduous chore I could come up with, in addition the that which I'd already assigned Him. If He objected again, I'd assign Him yet another task, until the objections cease.

3. If the objections don't cease, I'd find yet another form of "Physical Motivation" to occupy Him and His Mouth, until He choses to "Comply" with the Instructions He's been given. When He complies, He is rewarded with nourishment & perhaps a few minutes of rest, relaxation and maybe even some sleep.

Gunny Sgt. Pepper's Statement is also correct, either "The Mouth" complies or He receives a One Way Ticket back to Mommy & Daddy, so they can attempt to Correct what they have created!

Initiate discharge proceedings immediately. Ain’t no body got time for this nonsense. He has obviously been to basic and AIT so he knows the rules. Put him out. Someone is in line waiting to take his place.
