Yes the<br />unemployment rate for veterans is high, but it is high for everyone. Having assisted several fellow veterans the<br />main issue I have seen is the lack of drive from veterans. There is a sense of entitlement and that<br />America owes us something for having served. <br />What I have seen is that most unemployed or underemployed veterans feel<br />that they should not have to take an entry level position and work their way<br />up. I can tell you that from what<br />I have seen and personally experienced is that the veterans that stay motivated<br />and are willing to do whatever it takes to be successful are. America wants us to be successful, but they<br />want us to earn it.
