Hypothetical question: If I saw Bowe Bergdahl at the clothing and sales and called him a traitor to his face, would I get in trouble?

Let the military justice system do its thing. He is innocent until proven guilty regardless of what we may think about him. Also, doing that in public is pretty unprofessional.

1stSgt (Join to see) - I see this all the time today. Anyone accused of a crime is crucified in the court or public opinion regardless if they are guilty or not. I feel this is wrong. We have courts for a reason and should let them determine what is factual. Sadly, I doubt this kid will get a fair trial since most folks have already made up their mind about him.

I agree with you in principle and for those of us with no connection to him we should sit back and watch. However, there are men that know what happened and were personally impacted by his actions. They deserve the right to confront him if they're so inclined.

SSG Nana Togonmessie Abloklu Danfira Adedufira - They should let the justice system do its thing. The facts will come out fully at his court martial. There are always 3 sides to every story: yours, mine, and the truth. 9 times out of 10 the truth is somewhere in between mine and yours.

Exactly. No sense getting into it. First, you could get into trouble for acting unprofessionally or for trying to provoke a fight. And second, you know what they say about trying to start a fight with a stupid person... I don't think this situation is much different.
