Thanks Susan. I see where caregivers for veterans can get help but not for veterans who are caregivers.

It's my understanding the VA's Caregivers program works for both spouses, but your local VA office would be able to guide you better on your specific needs. If you don't find answers or help from them, then my recommendation is to contact your local United Way agency. Here in Charleston, our United Way is the conduit to various types of agencies (nonprofit and private) who can help with homebound care situations. Since you're a veteran, your household may qualify for additional discounts or free services too. It may take some digging, but your local United Way chapter is a great place to start.
