So you are looking to get back in on the AF side? As a Reservist?

Assuming all those answers are "yes'.... You will have to find a Recruiter, take the ASVAB again, process through MEPS again, etc... You will have to retrain into a new field (Army=MOS; AF=AFSC) since AF does not have 11B or any variation that would transfer.

Most critical, you will have to learn how to enjoy a DFAC and housekeeping services. I know, the challenges of the military, right? :) CMSgt Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 29 Mar 2017 14:51:34 -0400 2017-03-29T14:51:34-04:00 Response by 1stSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 29 at 2017 3:29 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-am-a-former-11b-looking-to-re-enlist-as-af-how-hard-is-it-going-to-be?n=2457394&urlhash=2457394

Why? 1stSgt Private RallyPoint Member Wed, 29 Mar 2017 15:29:06 -0400 2017-03-29T15:29:06-04:00 Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Mar 29 at 2017 6:00 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/i-am-a-former-11b-looking-to-re-enlist-as-af-how-hard-is-it-going-to-be?n=2457665&urlhash=2457665

SPC Ben Welk probably the closest thing to 11b (and it's a stretch, but probably the closest thing that the AF has to offer) is Security Forces - we're the only ones they trust enough to let have guns :)
Shouldn't be too hard.
