I am active duty, but my wife is in the reserves. Will she be able to move with me when I reclass to 35T? 2018-12-08T17:20:16-05:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 4192783

It is 42 weeks long. I knew a major who was on ados orders who was on for 6 months at Fort Sam Houston working for 5th army army North serious he was working alongside me even though I was on 52 day title 10 orders. She will have justification for going into the irr for a while but it may take some time. Or, she could drill with the other unit and be reimbursed for travel expenses up to $500 if she is over a hundred and fifty miles away. Let's see what others have to say.

MAJ Private RallyPoint Member SSG Carlos Madden COL Private RallyPoint Member @ Response by LTC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 8 at 2018 5:34 PM 2018-12-08T17:34:03-05:00 2018-12-08T17:34:03-05:00 SGT Eric Davis 4192829

And why would she not be able to move with you?!? You can contact the reserve component there at Huachuca and they should be able to help you with the reserve situation. As far as a reserve home, she can RST with a unit in the area until you graduate and have a final PCS location. If you find a unit out there and transfer to it while you are still at school she will only be at the unit for a short period of time then have to transfer again. I have allowed a few Soldiers to do this in the past.
