IF memory serves correctly, the weapons qual is dependent on location, AFSC, and duty position you&#39;re being assigned to. Talk to your relocation specialist at your local MPF or Orderly Room. So if you are honestly changing stations every year, then yes you will have to shoot at every location. But as long as your yearly quals are up to date, there shouldn&#39;t be any issue. (Regardless of MOS) I had a signal MOS but spent some amount of time in actual combat that was not expected while in Korea in 1968. You would need to check the PPCs for the location you are being assigned to (potentially being assigned to) to figure out what your requirement is.
