I have a degree and law enforcement experience. My question is whether 35M or 35L has the most or best options post military career. I am interested in both , but prefer HUMINT. However the lack of stateside opportunities with 35M worries me and that is why 35L is appealing. Wore civies, had an unmarked Ford Maverick and a Colt Cobra for defense. Hung out on Hay Street in Fayettenam, in the evenings, listening in the bars for SAEDA. He loved the job. Response by MAJ Ronnie Reams made Aug 30 at 2022 1:57 PM 2022-08-30T13:57:24-04:00 2022-08-30T13:57:24-04:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 7869604 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>As a 35M in a FORSCOM unit, 35L will give you something to do if you’re state side. 35M you basically rehearse your skills, or are doing something that doesn’t involve doing your specialty or using your language… you also have to consider that it is language dependent and you will be in TRADOC training for up to 2.5 years before you get to a unit and into the real army and that’s dependent on whether or not you make it through language school or are recycled at any point. You have to recertify every year in your assigned target language in order to maintain your qualifications to be a Mike. Things to consider.
