Is it possible to go 882A (Mobility Warrant) without giving up an AGR position? 2017-08-04T18:16:27-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 2801614 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div> I am currently AGR as a Transportation Management Supervisor. We have a guy in my wobc who was AGR and had to give up the AGR slot Response by WO1 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 4 at 2017 6:21 PM 2017-08-04T18:21:58-04:00 2017-08-04T18:21:58-04:00 SSG Todd Halverson 2801821 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>It is more than likely that the AGR slot will have to be given up as it is more than likely for an enlisted Soldier and not WO. In my case and because of my branch (JA) I had to give up AGR once I got picked up. They gave me 90 days to leave the program and then I became a regular drilling reservist (TPU) to start going to WOCS, WOBC, etc. I reapplied for the AGR program once I completed WOBC and 2 years and 4 months after having given up my enlisted AGR spot, I got lucky and was selected for a warrant AGR position. I think AGR to AGR is dependent of the branch you select but in my case I did have to give it up to reapply. I would talk to your Regional warrant officer accessions officer and see what your branchs SOP is regarding soldiers in your case. However, you would be able to hold your current AGR job because od the rank difference. My recruiter from the guard was supply and went supply warrant but got moved to a different position but is still currently AGR Response by SGT Raif Sevrance made Aug 18 at 2017 9:56 AM 2017-08-18T09:56:27-04:00 2017-08-18T09:56:27-04:00 SSG Private RallyPoint Member 5111178 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>To go 88N AGR straight to 882A AGR, it&#39;s not possible. You would have to go TPU and get in line to pick up one of the only ten or less 882A AGR positions. To go 88N AGR to Regular Army (RA) 882A, it is possible now without a break in service. Policy changes every now and again based on the Army needs. I am an 88N AGR and when I tried to go Regular Army (RA) 882A in 2015, I was told that they weren&#39;t looking outside the Regular Army pool. I then found out last year, 2018, that they opened it up to all Army components. I applied for 882A during last board and was picked up to switch from AGR to RA 882A with just one day of transition leave. Hope that answers your question.
