I am currently At the Warrior Transition BN on Fort Belvoir waiting on ratings from the VA. I am looking for a job in the communications field for when I get out. I was just wondering if there are anybody here who may have a few connections in the area. I am looking for something to support my family while my wife finishes her degree.

I got a job with AT&T worked as a testing technician. I tried working outside but could not pass the pole climbing. They give you credit for your military experience. So I was at full pay in one year. The one thing I hated about the job every four years we had contract negotiations. And there are a bunch of young idiots who want to push management as far as they can. The last time we had three walkouts.

SPC Robert Patrick you are certainly welcome to reach out to me. We do have network operations in Herndon, Va. If you live in Belvior, that commute will make you flinch. I certainly would be open to helping you and you are certainly welcome to leverage my network to find meaningful employment. The communication field is vast, you really have to figure out which side of the medium you'd like to work. I just finished my MEB and officially got out in June. Just got my first disability check, so know that at least that is quick and painless. Still waiting on my last Army check (the one with your last days of pay, any leave you have, clothing allowance balance, etc.), so be prepared for that to take a minute. Unfortunately, I do not have any job assistance for you, but I wanted to stop by and wish you luck.
