<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'd suggest you try to remember the Port numbers, pay attention to the question format and what's really being asked, and find Sec + quizzes to do. . . along with paying attention in class.SGT Private RallyPoint MemberTue, 08 Mar 2016 21:27:33 -05002016-03-08T21:27:33-05:00Response by Capt Brandon Charters made Mar 8 at 2016 9:45 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Be careful with this.... I'm an X4 that just left Keesler last March. I wouldn't have posted this on here as it could quite possibly be construed as test compromise. Just as long as the answers people are giving don't lead anywhere to answer sheets or "tips"A1C Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 09 Mar 2016 15:02:27 -05002016-03-09T15:02:27-05:00Response by MSgt Norman Van Tuyl made Mar 10 at 2016 4:18 AM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I certified in 2012 but I the big things for my test were the attacks, be familiar with the OSI model, and the major port numbers and that should get you through the majority of the test. <br /><br />As far as studying, I'd find sample tests and go through it. If you know it, great. If you don't know it, figure out why. That's the best way. You need to know the information, not just memorize it. I had studied in my off time during BOLC and took the test.1LT Private RallyPoint MemberThu, 10 Mar 2016 10:20:23 -05002016-03-10T10:20:23-05:00Response by SSgt David Sandlin made Mar 10 at 2016 12:27 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Thank you for all of the advice. I ended up reading Clarke thoroughly and taking notes as I read through it. I would compare terms between what I read in Clarke and what Gibson defined terms as in his book. It was my second time testing, but I think the second time was easier after having a foundation of knowledge from Gibson, and then expanding upon that with how Clarke described things. Clarke went more in depth about the terms and concepts, sometimes a little too much, but that helped to fully understand them. Biggest achievement of my Air Force career thus far, and plan to continue to persevere through any obstacles I face in the future.SrA Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 16 May 2016 23:53:46 -04002016-05-16T23:53:46-04:002016-03-08T21:24:24-05:00
