I am currently looking at possibly going back into the military. Can I get in army guard with 2x code and 80% VA for PTSD ?

Your best bet of course is to speak with a recruiter, but informal gouge that I've heard is your RE code is almost always waiverable (unless you got an OTH/BCD/DD). I have also heard that any VA Disability Compensation you receive would have to be given up. I don't think you would have to repay what you've already received but you just can't receive disability if you're in the Reserves/Guard.

They don't take ALL of your disability away. You can ask the VA to calculate how much they would need to withhold.

Is your 80% permanent or temporary? Since PTSD is treatable, I know several people with it listed as a temporary disability.
