Your best bet of course is to speak with a recruiter, but informal gouge that I've heard is your RE code is almost always waiverable (unless you got an OTH/BCD/DD). I have also heard that any VA Disability Compensation you receive would have to be given up. I don't think you would have to repay what you've already received but you just can't receive disability if you're in the Reserves/Guard.

They don't take ALL of your disability away. You can ask the VA to calculate how much they would need to withhold.

Oh BTW... Your disability would turn back on after you get out.

Is your 80% permanent or temporary? Since PTSD is treatable, I know several people with it listed as a temporary disability.
