I am interested in MOS 94H. Any advice?

I got out of the field in 1993 when the MMRB told me later Sgt Whitmire. It's a demanding and rewarding field. When Ii was in the teams were detached to the divisions, but not part of them. If you were a calibrator that's what you did. Now 94H is sent to the division and when you get there, you hope you get assigned to the team and not sent to one of the other units to be their cal coordinator. It's not the MOS it used to be. A lot of calibrators go right into GS jobs after separation.

Learn as much as you can while in school. Especially since you're a NCO. Running a shop can be stressful

Take a class in statistics. Improve your math. Calibration involves a lot of math.
