It should be a good start for your search, and I am not sure if OC is included on the list. And HRC is tracking it as that. 1st Army has battled with HRC to get us recognition. I have been an OC/T with 1st Army and have seen several Soldiers get selected to the next higher grade while here and after they have PCSed. Great opportunity to travel TDY! You become a master of the AAR process. You partner to Coach and Mentor with Reserve and National Guard units which othe CTCs(NTC,JRTC) do not do. You will learn doctrine and how to apply it to training. But most of all it's like any assignment, you make of it what you want, good or bad. I highly recommend it for you. Here at Fort Polk is a hot fill assignment which means if you want to come to Fort Polk the door is wide open. Ideally you have already completed your PSG time in a unit. The reason for that you will be coaching other SFCs and 1LTs mostly on daily operations from Offense, Defensive and Attack operations culminating on live fires exercises integrating everything available from Infantry to Aviation. Wheeled mechanics are part of the Lima team and are the experts on anything to do with support. Great job opportunity and excellent opportunity to grow as a senior NCO. It will give you the chance to spend a lot of time with your family while engaging in professional development and college or technical courses. Best part you PT on your own, no junior Soldiers to take care of and when the rotational units come you work on a 14 day rotation out of a month. Highly recommended as a SFC. Come join us at Task Force 1. Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Jun 14 at 2020 11:33 PM 2020-06-14T23:33:04-04:00 2020-06-14T23:33:04-04:00 2016-08-11T00:36:28-04:00
