Also would appreciate advice on which online college to attend if possible. THX I am looking into getting my Masters degree, what does the Guard have to offer to help? 2014-10-21T18:46:55-04:00 2LT Private RallyPoint Member 287337

I know the Post 9/11 and Montgomery GI Bills are available I'm just not positive on how they work. If it is like the Reserves it is up to $250 per credit hour for up to $4,500 a year. I used this for my Master's and it paid for half of it. I am using my Post 9-11 for my Phd. Others use it to pass to their kids or spouse. They offer their masters degree at the same rate for an under grad. So army TA will pay for the classes. They are the only school that I know that does that. You can also look at the benefits that you state has. You should look at your states NG education office. I was able to find a link to your state benefits also. It seems that your state is like mine. We federal TA and State TA. In this case you may want to look at a school in your state.

http://www.liberty.edu/online/military-tuition-discount/

http://guardedu.alaska.gov/Documents/2012/ARNG%20Education%20Program.pdf

Response by CPT Private RallyPoint Member made Oct 21 at 2014 7:19 PM 2014-10-21T19:19:08-04:00 2014-10-21T19:19:08-04:00 2014-10-21T18:46:55-04:00
