I am new to RallyPoint, do I just post questions and answers? Are there other uses?

I watched the video that explains how to use and it appears I can look up members for new assignments but I'm curious what other uses there are?

Welcome SFC Compton, As SPC Charles Brown eluded to, there are a lot of topics out there for discussion and laughs. Hover over the answers tab an select any of the top 3 to see discussions in progress. If you don't see something that grabs you, select the 4th option to post a question to the community as you did here. You simply join in anywhere by adding a response or responding to a previous response.
I highly recommend starting here: https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/should-a-2lt-salute-a-1lt and working your way to more serious and pertinent matters.

Should a 2LT salute a 1LT? | RallyPoint
I have been dealing with this a lot. I have seen both ways. As per AR 600–25 the junior person should salute. I see a 1LT senior to a 2LT and I salute them. I have seen many instances where this does not happen. Most see a LT as a LT regardless of being a 1st or 2nd. How do you all feel about this?"B. All Army personnel in uniform are required to salute when they meet and recognize persons entitled to the salute. Salutes will be exchanged...

One of the many uses I have found here on RallyPoint is the ability to build a network of support that can help with personal and military problems. Also there are several posted topics that are just for fun or that ask for demographic information. You can look for contacts that can benefit from your own experiences in the military and civilian life. When you want to start interacting with other members just select the answers section and look for topics you are interested in and respond to them. You can also create questions that you think would benefit or give others the opportunity to think about things in a different way. Welcome to the family. We are here for each other.

This is a great question SFC (Join to see). Depending on what you want from a military network it can be many things. What have you used it for and what are you trying to get out of your military career?
