When you start and complete one course, get your transcripts. You'll get credits for BCT/AIT plus the college classes. One class with Basic will be at least 20 credits, it depends on your MOS. Or something similar. As a promotable NCO how do you lead your troops and assist them in preparation for their advancement to the NCO corps? If you don't know how to get yourself the points that you need how are you teaching your subordinates to get theirs? It seems to me that as an NCO this is something you should already know how to do. Start with the basics, are you maxed with your weapons qual, apft and military education? Have you done any civilian education? Are you maxed on awards? If you answered no to any of these questions then you have your first steps to gain more points already set! Now it's time to get to work! As an NCO and leader you should already know this. Maybe you're not yet ready for the next stripe if you can't answer this question yourself. Let the down votes begin from the butthurt who can't handle truth!
