The job is very rewarding and I love what I do. But it all depends on where you are stationed at as well, some units work more than others. You can be in a Movement Control Team and sometimes not have a mission but then you can go and work air, vessel, Sfc and work a lot. I've worked at a MCT and currently doing air for Special OPS, there is a drastic difference. Promotions are not bad neither. If you have any other questions you can contact me. In all reality you as a senior member of the movements team must not loose sight of the eminent danger of multiple moving parts happenin around your units transportation needs. Supervision of soldiers, and constant communication between the command and soldiers on the line is paramount. Safety first, and precise execution of tasks moving, lifting, loading, securing, and quality control afterwards is your job as a 30 level movements NCO supervisor. Ya gotta love your job in mobility, or you will lose your way. Be fervent, and pay attention at school. Remember practice and quality in execution. Nothing happens until something moves! I have been an 88N for about 9 1/2 years. It is a fantastic MOS! I love it because it is a very broad career field. I have been with an MCT doing convoy ops, worked division level doing container management, MCB writing FRAGOs, Port Management Team doing sea ops, and the Joint Transportation Office doing Air Ops. You gain so much experience in so many different areas. It's one of those MOS' that really does translate well into the civilian work force. I currently work for one of the largest trucking companies in the US as a Logistics Analyst. Amazing job, best pay of my life, and great benefits!

Like I said, I have a little over 9 1/2 years experience as an 88N so if you have any questions at all, please don't hesitate to let me know! Best of luck to you! I'm coming from active duty as a Scout to the Reserve as an 88N. Everyone that I have spoken with so far has nothing but good things to say about the MOS. Have you been to school or anything yet?
