Takes 3-6 months to get approved and school date is usually 6 months after that. Take a real long hard thought about if it is really what you want to do and do some research about the climate of the command and how the organization is where you are looking to go. <br /><br />I highly suggest not picking a location if they still give you the chance based on where your family resides. Anyone can make it anywhere as long as they put in the grind, effort and self development but you are often put outside your comfort zone... especially so if you are not as comfortable talking to absolute strangers. We are in an extremely interesting time with the incoming generation. Even in the two years out here I have seen a major shift. Please let me ask though, in your personal reasons why do you want to volunteer for recruiting?
