It is my deepest hope that no one goes through life oblivious to the pain and suffering of others. I truly believe that I am my brothers keeper and that I am blessed, not burdened to be so. I am ashamed that the country I served has treated my brothers and sisters in arms with such apathy. billions of dollars are scammed and wasted to build Government run facilities and each year more and more veterans find themselves homeless and hopeless. Sounds like a noble cause and I certainly wish you the very best. To be perfectly honest, though, there are a lot of non-profits out there with this same stated purpose. Sadly, some of these have turned out to be nothing but scams. I think you might find that people are starting to be a little more skeptical. Not trying to discourage you ... just be aware that you will face some scrutiny.

Not discouraged in the least, I appreciate the candor and will make every effort to see that these funds aren't misused in any way. In fact I'm looking for people to help me ensure that everything stays above board and honest from start to finish.
